I moved to Dubai more than five years ago. At first it seemed like a temporary adventure: a new job, warm weather, the sea. Over time it became clear that the city changes habits, environment and idea of "normal life".
In these years I managed to live in different districts, feel the difference between seasonal and summer life, understand documents, bank accounts, rent and work contracts. This is not a tourist view of Dubai, but everyday routine: morning traffic jams, utility bills, search for doctors, places for walks and my own "corner" in the city of skyscrapers.
